U-Values
U-Values determine a windows ability to reduce the heating and cooling load, from the exterior environment and heat loss from its interior space.
The lower the U-Value, the more efficient the window.

Australia's window and door market currently provides a product that 'ticks the box' when it comes to U values.
A standard window supplier in Australia provides Double Glazed frames and Glass manufactured in China with a
U-Value of approximately 4.
The U-Value provided by EU2U comes with a maximum U value of 2! and and can get to a low of 0.9!

Reduced Energy Requirements
Windows and Doors, supplied by EU2U have excellent thermal properties, with the ability to reduce external heating and cooling loads on entering the home, as well as the ability to retain heating and cooling conditions created within the home.

Due to minimal loss of heating and cooling internally, air-conditioning and heating operations can be undertaken more efficiently.
The heat created by human metabolism and the operation of appliances within the home are trapped more efficiently in cooler months & the use of air-conditioning is reduced in the warmer months because of the ability to retain the cool air internally and reduced heat loads entering through the glass and frames,

On previous projects, where other double glazed frames were provided (by other suppliers), Nathers ratings were reaching a 5 star rating. With the modelling being adjusted to EU2U windows with their superior U-Values, this increased the project to a 7 Star project.
